It can be hard some days to look in the mirror and come face-to-face with the unavoidable evidence of time and aging taking its toll on your skin. If you feel dissatisfied every time you see your reflection in the mirror, wishing you could go back to looking youthful and healthy, we may have the perfect solution for you in the form of Restylane.
Nowadays, there are a lot of dermal fillers on the market to choose from. And with so many options out there to choose from, how is one to know which dermal filler works best for what? Luckily, Formula Wellness is here to tell you all the great things about Restylane that will have you running to our office to book an appointment!

What Is It?

This FDA-approved filler is made from hyaluronic acid, a component that occurs naturally in our skin that keeps it moisturized and refreshed. Restylane is great for smoothing wrinkles and sculpting lips, and the best part is, results can sometimes be seen immediately — and may even last up to a year!
Restylane targets moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds, such as the nasolabial folds — the lines from your nose to the corners of your mouth — as well as marionette lines, the corners of the mouth and even lips.

What Can I Expect?

Restylane results may last up to one year, but this depends on many factors. In general, the effects of this dermal filler may last the longest in less mobile treatment areas. You may see results immediately after the treatment, but it can sometimes be up to two weeks for the treatment to take effect.
It’s a safe and quick procedure performed in our office, with little to no downtime, but some patients may see some swelling and redness in and around the areas that were treated after the treatment is performed. Restylane is safe to repeat, so you can always come back for more!

Am I a Candidate?

If you are seeking a temporary solution to wrinkles, lines, or loss of volume, Restylane may be the right treatment for you! This is a procedure typically preferred by people in their 30s and older who are looking to tackle the signs of aging on their skin.
